The primary objective of our flicker unit is to significantly enhance the safety of city cyclists, particularly in the densely populated areas of the Western Cape, South Africa. By improving cyclist visibility, especially during peak traffic hours, we aim to reduce the number of accidents and collisions between cyclists and motorists. Our product is specifically designed to make cyclists more noticeable in both day and night conditions without causing discomfort or distraction to drivers. The 40-lumen LEDs provide optimal brightness, ensuring cyclists are seen without compromising the safety of others on the road.

In addition to safety, our product seeks to address broader urban challenges. By making cycling a more attractive and viable option for daily commuters, we aim to reduce traffic congestion in cities like Cape Town. Encouraging more people to cycle to work not only alleviates the strain on public transport and road networks but also promotes a healthier and more sustainable mode of transportation. With an IPX66 rating, our product is built to withstand harsh weather conditions, including rain and dust, making it reliable for everyday use in various environments. The unit is also designed with convenience in mind, featuring both rechargeable functionality and the option to connect directly to a power supply on e-bikes. This ensures that cyclists can rely on our product for consistent performance, no matter their commuting conditions.
