SA Sailing Competition

In my second year of studying Product Design, we were approached by SA Sailing to design and make an educational kit for school kids to expose them to the wonderful world of sailing. My product could be fully disassembled and had simple joining methods as well as having servo motors and a radio to further educate the students about how sail boats work. This project has since fueled the way I think about design and now I am constantly thinking about how my work can make a positive impact on the users.

Throughout the project, I learned a lot about materiality and how to plan effectively and be resourceful with the materials I had.
